Pentatonic Blues is a ‘cool’ jazz work in swing rhythm for the early intermediate pianist. The shuffle bass uses a 12-bar blues pattern rooted in the C minor pentatonic. The right riffs include some double thirds, wide leaps and tremolo culminating in a ‘must play’ solo for all ages and interest.
